This is an electronic version of the Bottisham Village Guide 2001.
Currently it's a duplicated upload with minimal hyperlinks.
Some pages still need working on, but I thought the necessity to disseminate information came first.
It will evolve into a correctly linked cyber document.
The contents will change also to reflect changes in information.

This guide is published by Bottisham Parish Council and printed by Burwell Community Print Centre.  It has been distributed free of charge to every household and business in the village.  The content was compiled by David Tilley & John Walker, who have tried to get as much useful information into the guide as possible, yet at the same time keep it pertinent to our Village.

This is the first Parish Guide produced for many years and we hope the it will prove useful to you in providing information about community services, sports and social activity, together with the retail and business services that are offered within the village. Further copies of the guide are available particularly for new residents from the Bottisham Library and Parish Councillors, so if you have a new neighbour let them know.

There are bound to be errors and omissions for which we apologise.  We intend to update the guide and reprint on a regularly, and we want it to reflect the needs and requirements of the community.  We welcome your comments on future contents, and need your help in advising us of information you come across concerning additions, alterations, personnel changes etc.  Please inform any Parish Councillor so the data can be updated.

Our thanks and appreciation goes to Colin Sore for his advice and hard work in designing the cover for the guide, and updating and indexing the village map; and to Hugh Rogers who wrote the most interesting and informative Brief History of Bottisham for the guide.
